How to Create Bundle Deals

How Carpool Credits Work

Every new user gets 100 free carpool credits on signup. Here's how the two credit buckets work.

  1. 1Sign up and you'll immediately receive 100 carpool credits — no listing or ride needed.
  2. 2Carpool credits are limited to carpool rides only. They cannot be used to buy listings or transferred to other users.
  3. 3To book a ride, find a carpool offer and click "Book Ride". Carpool credits are deducted first (preserving any general credits you have), held in escrow, and released to the driver after the ride is completed.
  4. 4If you withdraw your booking 24+ hours before departure (or the driver cancels), all credits are refunded automatically.
  5. 5Earn more carpool credits by sharing rides: +2 credits per ride you offer.
  6. 6Need to spend on listings instead? Earn general credits by completing sales (+5 each, up to 10 sales). You can also top up with NZ$ (1 credit = NZ$1) from your Credits page.

  • •Your carpool credits are shown separately on the Credits page under the teal "Carpool Credits" counter. General credits = your total balance minus carpool credits.
  • •General credits (from completed sales, ride payments as driver, and topups) work everywhere — listings, carpool, and user-to-user transfers. Listing rewards are only paid out on successful deals, not when you post — so junk listings earn nothing.
